September Lifestyle Favorites
Just like that. Another month, another fun post about lifestyle loves that I enjoyed!
disclaimer: none of the items or brands mentioned in this post is not sponsored.
There were a lot of changes last month but I think my favorite (and honestly the most useful) of all has been my Samsung Galaxy S9+. I’ve been eyeing the S9 for THE longest time but found that I liked the features on the S9+ more useful for me!
Guys, the camera (and photo editing features) on the S9+ is AMAZING. The video quality is OUT OF THIS WORLD (HA, get it!?) and last but certainly not least, it’s Sunset Gold (aka it’s pretty much rose gold but warmer tone).
For anyone thinking about switching over to Android or just curious about the experience, here’s something to get you started!
It’s crazy to think that some people think watches are obsolete. Well I beg to differ. I think this is the handiest watch I’ve ever owned… EVER. It’s not a “smart watch” per say but it definitely can get the job done. And it definitely beats taking my phone out to check the time during meetings (personally, I think it’s a little rude when someone constantly checks the time during a meeting, let alone take out their whole phone).
Since acquiring such a massive phone (haha), it’s been so easy to check, time, weather, and my calendar with my Ionic.
Smart News (application)
Being MIA for the last month didn’t mean I stopped peeping at the news around me! No, no, no, of course not! Knowledge is power people! And so I’ve decided to test out some applications for my current event needs. I found that the Smart News application gave me all the news concerning whichever category I choose whether it was lifestyle, entertainment or politics.
I’m going to be honest with you all. Though September18 was pretty fun, adjusting to my new schedule has been pretty stressful and definitely took a toll on both my physical and mental health. So with that being said. I’ve been trying out this app that helps me track my mood throughout the week. It truly helps with weekly reflections.
Praying the Rosary always gives me the peace that I’m looking for. September was filled with many stresses and so of course I sought out the peace I needed.
This October, my goal is to continue going to daily Mass (Ah! I can’t wait to tell you all in November how it all goes!).
Netflix September Picks!
Wow, okay. I have not been on Netflix in a while. But I’ve been lovingg so many shows lately!
Compared to other people, I feel like I’m not that picky when it comes to shows. I’ll watch rom-coms to documentaries to horror films to fun anime - I’m pretty open to new shows. Here are 3 things on Netflix I’ve been loving & definitely recommend!
Hilda. It’s an animated show about a girl who goes on adventures and makes friends. Sooo simple right!? There’s so much meaning to each episode and the animation is just out of this world wonderful and just absolutely beautiful!
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Asian American representation in film is soaring right now and I’ve never been more present. I’d heard so many great reviews about it from friends and so of course I had to check it out! If you’re a hopeless romantic - check. This. Movie. Out. :)
Saiki K. An anime about a teenage boy who happens to be the most powerful psychic in the world. If you’re down for a humorous show filled with sarcasm. This anime is definitely one to check out.
Lately, with all the stress surrounding me, I hadn’t had the time for tea in the morning. I’m not really able to have my usual quiet time in the morning because of my commute to university and so instead, I have my quiet time in the car :)
To get myself caffeinated & ready for the day, I’ve been heating up some water (2 minutes is perfect) & making some instant coffee. It takes less than 5 minutes to make & was wonders on the go (and for those that like their decaf, they have those too!).
Lifestyle favorites has been something I’ve loved sharing on the blog & so I' hope you like them too! Comment below what yours were - I’d love to hear about your favorites!
Happy October, everyone!
