Lifestyle Favorites : June 2018
My Blessed Is She planner came in the mail a few weeks ago but because it runs on an academic year, I can't really use it until August. I'd thought about this when I pre-ordered the planner a year ago, so I began my search for a blank one to use in the meantime. I stumbled upon this one at Urban Outfitters and I fell in love (yeah, the pain is mutual. Why does everything they sell cost an arm & a leg!? Who knows!?). The front cover is so pleasing to the eye, I just want to check everything off all of my to do lists!
Starting my day with warm tea is the first and best decision of my day. It helps me clear my mind for morning prayer & helps me get the juices flowing to edit & revise my writing later on. Add some honey, a milk of your choice and voila- bliss in a mug. I like my tea hot but I have no doubt it would taste good as an iced beverage.
3. My Polaroid
I've been really loving my little camera lately. Last year, I began a 3 album Polaroid project and it's still in the works! I know it's going to take a while for me to finish just one but I know they'll turn out wonderfully. I'll definitely keep you all updated on the finished products! Each photo is valued at $2 a pop so you either get the shot or you don't which has definitely inspired me to look more into building my photography skills as well.
Fam. I have no words t- y'know what, I'm just gonna leave this recipe here.
5. Blogger Communities
These are so great. I had no idea these existed. I've never been so exposed to such positive energy from so many women before. It's truly inspiring to see others who are also as passionate about writing & sharing original content about the things they love! I've been able to connect with local bloggers and creators outside of the United States! I feel so international... But y'know, not really. It's great. :)
6. Starbucks Triple Mocha Frappuchino
I once said I wanted to get a license to start a lemonade stand... Not to capitalize on lemonade but for my own, personal take on Starbucks Frapps. I dread paying near $10 for a venti, y'know!? What middle class intellectual's got that kind of money to throw into the toilet everyday (literally)? Not I! One day, you'll see. People will know me as the woman that saved them thousands on Frapps. In the meantime, I guess I'll just pull cash out my $$$ & sip on some of this overpriced but very delicious fudge on ice.
7. Songs of June 2018
I don't often share my music faves, let alone a whole list; but here I go!
Get lit. Here's my top 7 June tunes.
I went to her performance in Dallas this year & she was AMAZING. I recommend her entire album. Really, go listen to the whole thing.
Shout to my boyfriend. Love you, boo.
Hayley's really been breaking through with her music & I LOVE IT.
Great for upper body day. You're welcome ;)
Here's one last one for everyone who's been supporting me through my blogging journey so far. Here's to growth.
